Sunny Mandurah is the setting for today's adventure. I met my trusty assistant in Mandurah (me driving form Perth, him from Bunbury...) and set off to start the day. I had been looking forward to this wedding as Renee and Clayton are such LOVELY people, and i knew it would be a fun day.

Ceremony : Yindanna Lake, Lakelands
Reception : Mandurah Quay Resort
Locations : Yindanna Lake, War Memorial, Deli @ Port Bouvard Island & Mandurah Quay Resort

A Kind reminder from Renee to Clayton....

The boys set up a game of Poker, complete with chips and everything to while the time away before they set off. So cool :)

Renee had the help of her Hairdresser Extraordinaire Trish to put her amazing dress on.

We had a wander thought Renee's sisters house (i like to stickbeak...lol.) and found this room up the back that had an awesome Pink wall!! Very cool me thinks.

Renee was escorted down the aisle by the two men in her life...her Dad and Step Dad. I wonder how they feel handing their precious daughter to the NEW man??

and we all give a big resounding.....AWWWW!

We came to the War Memorial for their PWP, and thought it would look cool for the wedding photos. It was looking a tad stormy in the sky, but i think that really makes the image sing! A different look to the PWP images, but just as cool

Work it boys!!! Their best Shearer's Menswear Impersonation...

Their GM Kane wanted a photo with his gorgeous girlfriend...so here we go!

Got the 'nice' one? OK do something stoopid please...

Hey Check out my BLING BABY!!
by an amusing coincidence, Renee and I have the same engagement ring!! Our hubby's have damn good taste me thinks.

Oh yeah...I'm a cool dude.

They wanted to see if we could reproduce the classic Beatles shot... I think it looks pretty good!

Work it Girls!

Renee and her Entourage

Thanks guys, it was an absolute Blast! Thank goodness the rain held off until dinner time :)

Another day up in the 'Big Smoke' This time for Nic and Mick! This was a bit of a Superstar wedding, featuring a Designer Gown, a River Cruise and a Long Table Dinner!

Ceremony : St Andrews Church, Subiaco
Reception : Moonlight Express Boat Cruise and Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club
Locations : On the Boat, and at the Yacht Club!

AWESOME shoes!~ Love it when a bride does something a little out of the ordinary. Her dress was spectacular too! looked almost Spanish, especially when bustled, made her look like a flamenco dancer!

Cool cars to transport to the church!

Such a gorgeous church. The stained glass windows are so beautiful.

I got these ones just after they signed the registry. The love and happiness in their eyes is so cute. I love taking shots when people don't realise I'm taking them, as you get to see the REAL emotion behind peoples expressions.

They had the start of their reception on board The Moonlight Express, a charter boat from the company that brings you The Oyster Bar (yummm) Whats a lovely way to spoil your guests on your Wedding Day!

We had fun up the front of the boat for a while...

LOVE this shot, its like a fashion shoot!

Mr Spunk...and his Mrs...Spunkette!

Awesome set up on the balcony, one big table which was decorated with Fans for the ladies!

Thanks for a great day Nicole and Michael!!

Blog-Stalking!!!

|

Its a craze taking America...and now Australia by storm!! We all sneak around to other photographers Blogs and check out their work! I discovered a few peoples blogs by chance the other weekend and its taken a hold of me like you wouldn't believe :)

I have now decided I want to go live in America :) They just held a HUGE photography convention in VEGAS and I WANNA GO!!! My future hubby said I can go to the 2010 one...but that's ageeees away! I know we have a mini version here once a year, its usually over east...so maybe i should just go and see what the fuss is about...but they always do things bigger in USA. I believe you need to be a member of the AIPP, which is my winter job...must join...

Ive also discovered this amazing Photographer in the US who is holding a free online photography school! [b]ecker (yes just one name much like Madonna or Cher...) is a hugely talented and renown photographer in California, and he has been showing little snippets of info on his [b]school Blog every day for the past couple of months! The man is a gem, and i cant get over how much wonderful info he is giving away! You can pay HUNDREDS of bucks for this kind of mentoring, and this guy is being a champ to the max. His way of thinking, is 'A Rising Tide Raises All Ships', which in other words is...if we all get gooder, the industry gets gooder as a whole :) (never said English was my best quality!)

right, enough babbling form me, back to grinding the slave stone.

Off down to Dunsborough today. One of the great things about my job is I get to go all over the place and visit some awesome areas of WA. Perth one day, Dunsborough the next!

Katrina and Matt chose to have their wedding at Wise Winery, just off Eagle Bay. One f the most beautiful parts of the world...well i think so anyway.

Their Dream Team....

Ceremony and Reception : Wise Winery
Videographer: Launch Productions John is fantastic, and easily the best videographer I've worked with..so far :)
Transport : Down South Limos Brad is an AWESOME driver, with proof below....
Locations : Shelly Beach and Wise Winery

The Arty Ring Shot!

I got to the boys house to be greeted by no less than 13 shirtless males... give a girl a heart attack!!!

Beautiful BEAUTIFUL Kat... and very good taste too! Her dress was gorgeous and her BM's were fab too... couldn't possibly ask for more!

Waiting.....

Look at that VIEW! Couldn't imagine a better place to start a new life together.

They had some real characters in the guests. Some of the boys were total crackups.

Shelly Beach...ahhhhh

Now, how many men do you know who would clean your feet for you!! What a gentleman is Brad...Driver and owner of Down South Limos, and Chevrolet Limos...and a good mate too! (well his lovely wife Amanda is...)

John from Launch got the group to do some rather silly little 'blurbs' for the camera...and i captured it on mine too, just for the hell of it.

Fabulous Cake, Fabulous wedding, and Fabulous couple. Really great way to spend a Sunday!
