We were woken up last night at 3am but a horrendous banging noise on our roof!! I was terrified the roof was going to cake in, or we were all going to be blown up by an atomic bomb!
It was a freak Thunder and Hail storm that lasted 15 minutes, and less than 20 minutes later there were clear sky's again! BUT.... this was what we awoke to this morning....
All my Lavender bushes were all frozen together!
Now i know what Snow is like :)

My Friend lives 3 streets away from me....and didnt get ANYTHING! not even RAIN! FREAKY!

That is just a little bit ;-) In Wisconsin we had one of the snowiest winters on record with over 76 inches of accumulation over the course of the 07-08 winter. Salt supplies ran low and so did some of our sanity.
