Kelly and Chad, 26th April 2009

This was the 2nd wedding of the weekend and such a FABULOUS way to spend a Sunday!! Kelly is without a doubt a stunning stunning lady, and its a highlight of my weekend to walk into a room of boys getting ready to find them half naked!! :)

We started off at Bunker Bay resort, which really is to die for. Its like a proper little village but you could almost think you were the only one there its so tranquil! Boys on one side of the resort, Girls on the other...and never the twain shall meet (until 4.30pm of course)







As sunset was going to be about 30 mins after the ceremony, we decided to do half the photo shoot before hand, to make sure we had enough time. Great idea if its going to be rushed after the ceremony.





The ceremony was held at Wise Winery - absolutely STUNNING location for a wedding. The view is just breathtaking. I love this shot of Chad with all his Brothers.

and off to the beach for sunset!! The light was superb at this time of night. Couldn't possibly have had better weather, light, sunset or Bridal Party!







Back to Wise where we were entertained by the very talented Jamie Hook who serenaded the guests on the terrace.

Tash and Steve 25th April 2009

Anzac Day 2009 - a day to remember the brave men and women who fought for our country...and a day to celebrate the marriage of Tash and Steve!

We arrived to full swing preperations at Tash's house...everyone was being primped and beautified within an inch of their lives...and the results were just gorgeous.







Off to the Sanctuary, one of the best places in Bunbury to have your wedding. The organisers Tim and Carley are just fabulous people.



After the heartfelt ceremony, that involved a handfasting ceremony, we headed off to the shade of the cool Fig Tree!



OMG how amazing does Tash look here?? This is my patented "Dress Frooping" move, that always looks fabulous!



We stopped of at the cool mural in the carpark off Start street in town, which cam up an absolutle treat, so thanks so much for the suggestion guys! Im always open to peoples ides on their wedding photographs, I mean the day is about YOU guys, so your input is invaluable.







Off to the beach.....and a beautiful sunset...and an even more beautfiul bride.







The reception setup in the Marquee at the Sanctuary looked amazing, and the night was set off well with our old mate DJ Darren

There are a few Websites out there that are perfect for a little inspiration, just when you need it most.

1)Polka Dot Bride

This is an AWESOME website for getting the nitty gritty details about WHY vendors do what they do....and some amazing inspiration boards and real life weddings. Its the Bee's Knees of of Blog Stalking!!

2) Pink Frosting

This is a decorating/Bonbon/invitation online store, that has the BEST stuff. Its all so cute and fluffy and cupcakily goodness. Just LOVE it.

3) Project Wedding

This website helped me SO MUCH in the planning of my wedding. It has the most amazing images, and you can sort them into colours or styles or if you just want to look at green bridesmaid dresses or reception decorations.

4)Lifting the Veil and Wedding's WA





Two AWESOME wedding forums! get real advice from REAL brides! you can ask them any stupid question and no doubt someone would have had the same question/problem/worry and it wont feel so silly anymore! And because both are WA based, you get local knowledge and advice rather than from the huge eastern states forums.

So hopefully those links give you a little inspiration to help you on your planning journey!!

A perfect sunny Autumn day, A gorgeous Bride, a Handsome Groom, and lovely bridal party and one of my favorite venues all rolled into one! Who could possibly ask for more than that?

Ceremony and Reception - Abbey Beach Resort Busselton One of my very favorite places.

Abbey Beach Resort is defiantly one of my favorite spots for weddings. They always do an amazing job. The function coordinator Donna is always immensely helpful and the Wedding supervisor Catrin is an absolute GEM. you couldn't ask for better help and service.

The 2nd reason I love it here is everything is here! you can have the bride on one side, the Groom on the other...run between the two...and they never spy the other! :) That's what we did on this day, went back and forth during the preparations.



Brett looked so happy waiting for his bride, and Shannon was so overjoyed to be marrying the man of her dreams, she couldn't contain the tears as she walked down the aisle towards him.





My third favorite thing about Abbey Beach Resort is its so photogenic!





Off to the jetty for some more fun. The sky was amazing...

and then off to the reception. The Ballroom looked superbly amazing as always.





Shannon and Brett entertained their guests with a little impromptu dance as they entered. LOVED IT!







Thank you so much guys for your joy and love and happiness and every once of excitement during the day. Even the Bus breaking down didn't disturb your joy for too long!
