Nicky and Bryce - The Slideshow!!!

| Tuesday, April 21, 2009

Nicky and Bryce had a totally gorgeous wedding at the beautiful Amberley Estate in Yallingup/Margaret River. Its just stuning there!! The day started with meeting up with both Bryce and Nicky at their respective preparation sites, and then heading to Caves House where Nicky had a couple of drinks with her family to calm the nerves!! Caves House is totally amazing, very much recommended for a ceremony and/or reception site.

Off to Amberley, where we met with a nervous and excited Bryce, looking oh-so-dapper...

After the beautiful heartfelt ceremony we rushed off for some photos before reception started, having heaps of fun and laughs around the front gates of Amberley...and then back to the main area for the reception.

Check out the slide show for all the fun of the day! Wait till you see the cake - too cool for words :)

Love you guys, Nicky...you make me smile every time I see one of your pics, the joy just shines like a beacon for all to see.

All New Grit and Glamour Sessions!

| Wednesday, April 8, 2009

Ive been wanting to get into the whole "Trash The Dress" phenomena as i think the images around the place are just fabulous, and it leads itself to some really imaginative and stunning imagery....but Ive seen a lot of people shy away from the idea because they think 'Trash the Dress" = "Destroy the Dress" which is totally not the case! I wanted to show that you can achieve some amazing images without hurting your dress one iota.

Ive called the sessions "Grit and Glamour" to symbolise the joining of two extremes to create amazing imagery

My call for "Trashers" showered me with prospective models for this endeavour, and my first was the lovely Robyn.

Wanting to show off the beauty of our South West, as well as creating some funky artistic beautiful images, we chose a remote location near Yallingup for the shoot. Finding an amazing run-down shack was a photographers dream come true!

We even convinced her Husband to join in for a few shots. We wanted to show a really juxtaposition between the Bridal Beauty and the Rugged Aussie Bloke...

Bryanna and Jon, 1st february 2008

| Monday, March 24, 2008

Pinch and a Punch!! Friday the 1st saw me toddle down to Busselton and Yallingup for Bry and Jon's wedding.

Bridal Party Preparations : Geographe Bayview Resort
Ceremony : Caves House, Yallingup
Celebrant : Jennifer Etherington
Reception: The Goose, Busselton
Locations: Shelly Beach, Wise Winery and Busselton Foreshore

Loooove her shoes :)

I love it when all the girls are putting on The Dress...some dresses take up to 4 people to help put them on! I try not to set up photos at any time, particularly not in the pre shots, as everyone is tense and hyper enough without me directing every 5 seconds, so I just capture exactly what happens.

The emotion during their ceremony was so high. Bry could barely hold in the tears walking towards her hunky hubby, and even John had 'sparkly' eyes. even I'M having sparkly eyes remembering it!!! as we all know I'm a great BIG WUSS!

Caves House is amazing, the architecture is just spectacular and i had to shoot on the staircase, as it just screams romance and smoochiness.

Shelly Beach is one pretty amazing place. The sheer rock wall at the west end of the beach creates some spectacular backgrounds, and the joy of it all is its almost always in shade!! WOOHOO! Shade is our friend ladies and gents, we love shade.
It does have a fairly large population of flies at this beach, so make sure you pack the aeroguard.

Cant go wrong with the Busselton Jetty

Or with The Goose....
