Cindy and Mark, Pre-Wedding Portrait

| Tuesday, September 11, 2007

The best thing about holding a pre-wedding portrait is it helps to make people more comfortable with the camera, with me, and dispelling the rumour that having your photo taken is quite scary and unnatural. I totally get that because i HATE having my photo taken, so I like to make it as easy as possible. I try and get people to have a laugh, either at each other, at my lovely assistant John...and if all else fails...at me. I'm a pretty laughable human being at times!!

Cindy and Mark are totally adorable. They are so obviously in love and its very sweet to see. Their wedding is being held up in Perth on a Friday in November. They came all the way down to Bunbury for their shoot! I'm most impressed at their dedication to my art :D

The only bad thing about this portrait shoot is we all go eaten alive my mozzies!! I need to pack some aeroguard into my backpack.....

Kyah and Chris, 18th August 2007

| Thursday, August 23, 2007

This was one of the easiest weddings Ive ever had the privilege to be a part of! Kyah and Chris were so easy going, so happy to be getting married and didn't even worry when their Bridal Party got lost during the photo shoot!

I must admit, its easy to shoot when your working with someone as gorgeous as Kyah....

Their Ceremony was held at St Boniface Cathedral , a beautiful church here in Bunbury.

We travelled to the old Hogs Breath Cafe on Victoria st, and then to the tumbling down house in Australind. The Bridal Party went through a bottle shop drive through on the way and then got lost!! They finally found us thank goodness and we proceeded to shoot some great images.

Sunset was beautiful. Thank goodness they got married on the Saturday, as the next day, it rained ALL DAY. Someone up there must like these two, I know i certainly do :D

Kyah and Chris, Pre Wedding Portrait

| Friday, August 10, 2007

Ahhhh, Young Love... such a wonderful thing! Kyah and Chris planned their wedding in only 3 months (well done!!) and had their pre wedding portrait only 2 weeks before their wedding.

Kyah and Chris showed me this amazing old run down shack on a property in Australind, close to Bunbury. Its totally amazing and we will be doing some fabulous images for their wedding next weekend.
