I LOVE WEDDINGS!!!!!

Well...to be more precise...WEDDING PRESENTS!!

We went and did our Myer Gift Registry about 3 months ago, before the invites went out...and it was so much fun running around Myer Perth with the scanner machine...BOOP BOOP BOOP!

so now its getting closer to the time, ever couple of days, we are being sent mysterious packages from Myer Gift Registry!!! Its so exciting :D Our back room is getting filled with exciting looking boxes of various shapes and sizes... and we are being good little girls and boys and not peaking!!











SO MUCH FUN!!

Bianca and Trevor, Pre Wedding Portrait

I was up in Perth for the weekend so I met up with Bianca and Trevor in Hyde Park for their Engagement Portrait!

Hyde Park is so beautiful any time of the year, particularly in Spring, with all the new tree growth and beautiful flowers, but Winter with its deciduous tree's and chilly winds brings something special to the park.

Saturday was actually a fluky day weather wise. Rain and wind and nasty winter weather for the rest of the week, but blue skies, warm breezes and almost summer conditions made for an awesome shoot.

I am LOVING this back-lighting thing! It really does bring out such fabulous colours and textures and pretty hairlights and yum yum yum yum!!!! Cant wait for the new Wedding season to hurry up so I can practice some more!









How cute are these two!! Such Joy and Happiness :) Cant wait till October!!

Over to the Dark Side.....

Now they say if you cant do...teach, and if you don't want to HAVE your photo taken...take them of others!!!

So its less than 2 months till MY big day...AGH!! My fabulous Photographers for our wedding are Mike and Kylie from Pixel Magix. You could never find a more fabulous pair. The came by to take some Pre Wedding Portraits piccies of Myself and my lovely John-Boy the other week. I was TERRIFIED!! I personally hate having my photo taken as i think i generally look like a marshmallow.... But i reckon they came out pretty good :)

Introducing MOLLY!!!

You may remember Kyah and Chris from their Wedding Photos and from Kyah's pregnancy shoot a few months ago... Well their little Princess is now here and OH MY she is so GORGEOUS!!!

I go though phases of cluckyness, and being of a certain age, people always ask the question "so when are you and John going to sprog??' and sometimes i say "NOW NOW NOW" and other times i say "NEVER NEVER NEVER" ..... This was a definite NOW moment. Its totally amazing how such a little person can make such a huge impact on you!

Molly is around 2 months old, and she is SO INTELLIGENT! She couldn't take her eyes away from this rather large black thing poked in her face (my camera) and I could just see "I'm a Princess, Take my photo please" going though her mind....

Freaky Bunbury Storm!

We were woken up last night at 3am but a horrendous banging noise on our roof!! I was terrified the roof was going to cake in, or we were all going to be blown up by an atomic bomb!



It was a freak Thunder and Hail storm that lasted 15 minutes, and less than 20 minutes later there were clear sky's again! BUT.... this was what we awoke to this morning....







All my Lavender bushes were all frozen together!

Now i know what Snow is like :)

My Friend lives 3 streets away from me....and didnt get ANYTHING! not even RAIN! FREAKY!

Amanda and Kent, 6th July 2008

After a windy and rainy Saturday we awoke to blue skyes and sunshine on the morning of Amanda and Kent's wedding! Horray!!!

Ceremony - UWA (University of Western Australia)
Reception - Matilda Bay
Locations - UWA.

Its kindof a funny story, actually, how Amanda came to find me to shoot their wedding. I had been recomended by one of my past couples, Amber and Phillip, but after she contacted me we discovered she actually worked with John, my Fiance (and trusty 'Fella-who-carrys-the-heavy-stuff-at-Weddings') as well!! Small world I say!

Anyho... come Sunday morning is VERY VERY CHILLY but we figh our way though all that Sunday morning traffic in the city, to get to Ascot Quays where Amanda and co were getting frocked up!



















We head off to UWA and the ceremony starts!! Such a fabulous place for a wedding. The architecture is so beautiful. Amanda ALMOST came to tears walking towards her soon-to-be husband...






Kent and Amanda symbolised their melding of family with a presentation of a beautiful bracelet to Kent's daughter Lauren (who I might add was a very fabulous Flowergirl!)

We stayed around UWA for a few quick photos. Its amazing what you can do in 20 minuites!

We went off to Matilda Bay Resteraunt for thier Lunchtime reception.
