Emma and Michael, 6th December 2008

| Monday, December 29, 2008

Such a beautiful sunny happy day!! I had been looking forward to this wedding since I met Emma and Michael at their Engagement portrait, as i thought they were such a lovely lovely couple, so in love, and we had such fun. I knew their wedding would be something special.

Ceremony - St Boniface, Bunbury
Locations - Back Beach, St Marks, Groovy red wall
Transport - Australia's Own FJ Holdens
Flowers - Stems Floral Design (in Perth)
Reception - Sanctuary Golf Resort

I started the day at the Boys house. I do like getting shots of the boys in preparation mode, and if they are close by it makes for a nice start to the day.

We then headed off to Emma's parents house where i found Miss Emma already dressed! We did our regular detail shots (FABULOUS FLOWERS!) and some beautiful portraits and then headed off to the Church.

St Boniface is a beautiful church, so grand! Emma had arranged for everyone to blow bubbles as they walked down the aisle and it looked so fantastic.

We headed off to the beach, the location of Michael's proposal - what a romantic guy!

I said...'can we stop off at this place on the side of the road for a second?' SURE! I love it when my couples trust me to get cool shots, even when the location sounds or looks weird. Believe me, the results are always worth it (experimentation produces innovation)

We ended up at the Tree at St Marks, another favorite stop

The reception setup at the Sanctuary looked amazing! Like something out of Tuscany. All the details were so beautiful.

So Bec receives a 2 hours photo shoot, a online viewing gallery of edited images, and a CD of 5 fully edited images ready for printing! Perfect for when her little bundle of joy arrives :)

Thank you all for entering, and voting, and enjoying the festive spirit! Your all absolutely fabulous people. I cant wait till the next one! Its all very exciting checking my stats each morning to see who has visited and from where.

Lisa and Steven Engagement Portrait

| Tuesday, December 23, 2008

Saturday was kinda strange weather wise! I mean its supposed to be Summer right?? Friday was summery, big blue sky's, about 30ish...nice! Saturday turns up being chilly, windy and RAINY! Weird. Blame it on Global Warming.....

So I met with Lisa and Steve in Kings Park for their engagement shoot! They were another couple I hadn't yet met...they booked me over the Internet too! I love it when my work speaks to people so much they just have to have me...makes me feel so loved :)

Beth and James, Engagement Portrait

|

I only met Beth and James less than a week before their wedding! They booked me over the Internet, as they are currently living in Tasmania...its a bit of a distance to travel to come see me!

I was in Perth already, second shooting a wedding for a friend of mine (his wife is 7 months pregnant..not fun shooting weddings in that state!) so I spent a few hours with Beth and James getting to know them and having a look at their wedding location for the following Friday, Lake Karrynup Country Club (swit swoo!)

We headed off to the beach to have some photos with their babies...2 Dalmatians! Far too cute for their own good I think :)
