Helen and David, Pre-Wedding portrait

A very busy weekend!! 1 Wedding and 2 Portraits...no wonder I'm tired!

Helen and David are getting married at the end of the month on David family property "Carlaminda" in the Ferguson Vally. My first thought....OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

This place is rather spectacular and i died and went to heaven a little bit. The view is so amazing and these two are so very lucky to be able to hold their special day with a background of the very best nature has to offer.

I do like fitting the portrait sessions around my couples personalities and lifestyles. A little Roll in the Hay never hurt anyone! :D

I must say, its no secret I'm looking forward to this day.... its a country-photographers paradise!!

Cindy and Mark, Pre-Wedding Portrait

The best thing about holding a pre-wedding portrait is it helps to make people more comfortable with the camera, with me, and dispelling the rumour that having your photo taken is quite scary and unnatural. I totally get that because i HATE having my photo taken, so I like to make it as easy as possible. I try and get people to have a laugh, either at each other, at my lovely assistant John...and if all else fails...at me. I'm a pretty laughable human being at times!!

Cindy and Mark are totally adorable. They are so obviously in love and its very sweet to see. Their wedding is being held up in Perth on a Friday in November. They came all the way down to Bunbury for their shoot! I'm most impressed at their dedication to my art :D

The only bad thing about this portrait shoot is we all go eaten alive my mozzies!! I need to pack some aeroguard into my backpack.....

Nic and Sarah, Pre-Wedding Portrait. 5th September 2007

I met Nic and Sarah in Busselton for their portrait. The afternoon was practically perfect, warm, sunny and just Divine!!!!

There is something so iconic about the Jetty in Busselton. You cant go there without a photo or two. It makes a fantastic backdrop.

Nic and Sarah's Big Day is in November, down in Margaret River. I'm very much looking forward to it as Margs is one of my favorite places in the world.

Liz and Kerry, Pre-Wedding Portrait. 25th August 2007

On a Rainy Saturday afternoon we travelled back to Bridgetown to shoot this lovely couples Pre-Wedding Portrait. They are having their ceremony and Reception at Luciville Chalet's just outside of Bridgetown and so we met there to view the property and take some happy-snaps!

The gardens are beautiful there and i can image in late October it will be just teaming with flowers.

Liz and Kerry are a delight to work with! Roll on their Big Day......
